Tour Description
Experience the magic of the jungle on this twilight tour, starting at 5:30 PM and concluding around 8:30 PM. Our schedule is flexible, so if we need a little extra time to explore, we’re more than happy to extend the adventure – it’s all part of our passion for what we do.
Your journey begins with a short boat ride across the Sierpe River, followed by a 30-minute walk along a gravel road leading to a forest trail. Here, we’ll venture into mature and riparian forests in search of wildlife.
Our primary focus will be the stream near Sierpe’s water tanks, a pristine and carefully protected water source for the town. Along the way, we’ll look for frogs, snakes, and insects, as well as glowing mushrooms and, if luck is on our side, Kinkajous!
This tour is especially rewarding during the rainy season (late May to November), but even during the dry months, there’s no shortage of beautiful frogs and fascinating finds.
Below, you’ll find a comprehensive list of Amphibians and Reptiles from Sierpe.
